It’s that time of year to bring out the slow cooker more often and serve up warm comfort foods. This beef stew recipe is a great dinner choice!
I stumbled across this steak and potatoe recipe on Pinterest awhile back and have made it a couple times already! It’s really easy to throw together and delicious! I used less butter and less cheese and it still turned out great. Serve with a side salad or green beans.
New dinner idea! These mini meatloaves were easy to make and full of flavor. I like to follow Hungry Girl on social media and try some of her recipes. I served this dinner with boiled potatoes and sliced tomatoes and peppers. Kid approved too!

I think this is my new favorite lunch!! It’s fresh, healthy and delicious!
This simple recipe is cooked chicken breasts, apples, walnuts and grapes and topped with a citrus vinaigrette. A little dressing goes a long way, you only need 1T per serving.
Cook chicken in broth- 3oz per serving. In olive oil, cook red and green peppers and onion. (Optional- add broccoli and mushrooms). Add diced chicken and pineapple chunks into vegetables and cook 5 minutes longer. Serve stir fry with sliced tomatoes.
I just love crock pot recipes, fix it and forget it! I use it year round for all types of recipes.
It doesn’t feel like the end of December but you can’t go wrong with a comforting crock pot meal, even despite the sunny and warmer days!
Update: This recipe was so thick that it really needs extra chicken broth to thin it out at the end. The cooking time needs adjusted also…less time is better. Tonight for leftovers, I made a deep dish pie crust and then filled it with the noodles and chicken, sorta like a pot pie. Something is still missing though…..maybe a little onion or some seasonings would be nice. ?
